Highly effective managers work more efficiently than others.

It’s a fact. They get more things done.

They deliver the big tasks and projects they are assigned.

The teams they lead are focused on delivery.

Collectively, they get more done in the same time available to lesser performers.

It took me a while to get my time management under control and working well.

For example,

As a young manager, I didn’t always leave enough time for the travelling part of getting to meetings.

That resulted in stressful journeys and a few late arrivals. Not the best way to impress prospective clients!

I don’t do that anymore. Nor am I tardy with follow-up notes to meetings.

These could arrive days later because “other things” got in the way of what should have been a very straightforward task.

To fix my faults, I studied the time-management habits of effective business leaders.

Much of what I learnt, plus some new strategies, is in the Time Management Issue.

It shows you how to make the very best of the time you spend at work.

That skill has never been more critical to management success.

It not only increases productivity, but also reduces stress and helps you consistently meet deadlines.

You work smarter instead of harder. You get more time for life outside of work.

If that’s something you’d find attractive, you can see what’s covered in this issue on this page of our website.

Very best,
